Central America Health Sciences University

The Central America Health Sciences University was founded in 1996. It is situated in Belize City, Belize. The nickname of the Central America Health Sciences University is CAHSU. Formerly it is known by Honduras as it is the heart of Caribbean Region. Belize lies on the eastern side of Central America. Mexico is the North side of Belize. Guatemala situated to the west and south side of the Belize. CAHSU is a medical college which curriculum pattern is related to US medical program. The university plays a vital role to the central education system in America.  

The mission and vision of the Central America Health Sciences University that is Belize Medical College is to successfully promote the health and family welfare of the society. The general people get their benefit by educating here as they become a human doctor after few years. The University tries to give them proper knowledge not only in physical, chemical and biological science but also the social factors and human being. They teach them how to be a skilled and responsible physician. And also teach how to be well equipped to enter into the job market after graduation.

The syllabus of the Central America Health Sciences University includes the study of the human body and as well as its structure. It has many well equipped lab where the students are doing there practical class. The lectures of the lecturer delivered a world class delivery as students required. Students are attending many seminar and symposium.

Rangpur Medical College and Hospital

Bangladesh is a populated country as its total land and it is a land of rivers. There is no way to go to other district without cross any river. The Rangpur is on the bank of the river Tista. It is the northern part of Bangladesh. The communication it with Rajshahi or Dhaka is near about 300km distance. There is no direct road transport to go to these two districts. For this reason the general people are deprive to get there treatment. As a result the government of East Pakistan established a medical college in Rangpur named Rangpur Medical College and Hospital. It is establish in 1970 with a 500 bed hospital. In 1971, the first batch admitted here affiliated with Rajshahi University. 50 Students admitted in the first batch. Now a days, the students are admitted here 175 every year. 44^th Batch is now admitted in 2015.


Rangpur Medical College and Hospital is one of the biggest medical colleges with its large area. It is a five storied building with six (6) partitions. The medicine wards are1, 2 & 3.The surgery wards are 4, 8 & 10. Ward number 5 is for ENT (Eye, Neck and Throat). The College building contains Administrative block, Conference room, Air-conditioned Library, Medical Education unit, Research Cell, Lecture Gallery, Post Office, Guest House, Medical Skill Centre, College Canteen, Teacher Lounge and a beautiful Auditorium.
